Senior School Learning
Information for Years 10 - 12
Wheelers Hill Secondary College offers students the opportunity to take all major VCE studies along with many other options. For example, we offer drama, studio arts, theatre studies, philosophy, psychology, literature, and physical education. These are available to VCE students as well as selected Year 10 students ready to access VCE. A programs approach to course selection helps students make program choices geared to a wide range of careers.
Our VET programs are carefully designed to improve students’ vocational pathways. They facilitate credit transfer arrangements into TAFE courses or assist students to directly enter the workplace.
Our aim is to provide an environment for senior students that caters for all aspects of our students well-being and their academic success. We provide an environment which both fosters academic success and caters for students’ well-being.
Each learning cycle is two weeks in length, 40 sessions per cycle. Each session is 72 minutes in length, and there are four sessions each day. Please see the link to the Senior School Subject Handbook below for more information.
